People choose to ignore Black women

Some people today identify themselves as multiracial or have defined themselves by how they appear to others in order to avoid complications. Events in the past year have made it almost impossible to avoid racism, yet people choose to ignore Black women and how the public views them. I interviewed three women of color in San Diego to highlight the social injustices they face as young minority women in today's society.
